Our Values
Radical Transparency
Trust is everything. We’ll share ALL our financial information, every purchase, income statement and tax return.
Collective Action
We can achieve incredible things together, that cannot be achieved alone.
Purpose
& Profit
We believe that there can be a better way. To help halt climate change and deliver real yields for our members.
Our Beliefs
Be part of something special.
Invest as much or as little as you want, be part of a community on a hopeful journey to create a better world.
Money is meaningless if we don't have a planet to exist on.
What’s the point of investing in a pension if there isn’t going to be a habitable world to live on.
Act now and we can avoid climate disaster.
Technology powered social capitalism.
The current global economic model is broken. A small amount of people get richer while exploiting dirty energy as a means for growth.
We believe in a fairer distribution of profits.
Club Rules
1. Invest as little or as much as you want into renewables projects. Ethos takes a 3% transaction fee.
2. The project goes live and delivers yields to the fund that we continually re-invest, compounding the effects of your initial investment and buying more and more solar cells.
3. You are given a membership card - your Ethos Renewable Asset (ERA). This digital key holds information including - membership number, the total number of cells held, energy produced and carbon avoided. There is a maximum number of 1 million members in the fund.
4. 80% of yields are added directly to your ERA. A further 15% of yields is added to a rewards pool which is distributed between the members.
5. A remaining 5% of yields is held by Ethos. We also re-invest these funds to build more solar cells.
6. You can sell your membership card (ERA) to anyone at any time. The asset’s value will appreciate in value based on the number of active solar cells held on the ERA.
*The fund expects projects to deliver 8% ARR, over time we aim to increase this to 14% as we increase our portfolio, expertise and reduce capital expenditure.
